Ultra lightweight filler, directly paintable

There is a huge offer of applicable products for indoor repairs from cavities and filling joints. Most of these products have to be mixed with water, before applying them. In almost all applications, the product is painted afterwards. An important disadvantage from the usual fillers is that a considerable shrinkage originates during curing because the mixed water vaporises from the filler. Because of this, it often will be necessary, to apply the filler in several layers, to come to a good and smooth end result. Painting suchlike repairs can only be done after the filler has entirely dried. If painted too soon, there is a high risk that the paint will crack. Because the shrinkage that occurs during drying up from the filler, the surface will enlarge. The by then applied paint, will not be able to keep up with this and in many cases, will crack.

Den Braven Sealants, now, introduces an entirely new ready-made, ultra lightweight filler, directly paintable. Zwaluw Gipsplatenvuller (plasterboard filler) is a ready-made product and will be available in 310ml cartridges, so it can be applied with a simple hand applicator.

Maybe, the most important quality of this product is that it has no shrinkage. One can apply and finish the product right away without mixing, which results in a huge saving in time and money. It is also possible to paint over the 'gipsplatenvuller' within a few minutes, with which again a lot of time and money will be saved. The product has a very low specific gravity (0,5 gr/ml), through which the application above the head will be free from problems.

One of the most important applications of the fillers is sealing up joints and threaded holes that originate from installing plasterboards. Zwaluw gipsplatenvuller is extremely suitable for sealing these joints and makes plasterboard joint tape superfluous. Per head of the Dutch population, yearly, 9m² of plasterboard, is placed, Many of these boards are installed by people themselves who leave the finishing to experts. With Zwaluw Gipsplatenvuller, everybody is capable of finishing walls and ceilings, completely and inexpensively, by themselves.
